                                        Mission

Pave the Way: Center for Exceptional Learners encourages children to use their natural gifts to learn and to grow. We provide a compassionate environment with structure, exploring and behavior monitoring. We honor differences and praise uniqueness, creative potential, while supporting individual intellectual achievement, building character, and supporting a moral compass that supports the children’s heads, hands and hearts.

Paving the way for children to live their best lives and make a difference in the world.

How do we fulfill the mission?

  • Teaching: Our program builds confidence and supports the learning potential of children and preparing them for continued positive learning experiences.

  • Building:  Parents and teachers work together to create a community where children feel loved and included. The community supports each other in the journey of learning and excepting each others differences.

                 Vision

Our vision is to create an environment where professionals can put a plan together for children that will reflect the amount of support they will need to progress to next milestone or level of education. This includes providing vital information to the child’s school prior to enrollment in order to have an accurate Individualized Education Program (IEP) in place to minimize interruption and allow for carryover from Pave the Way.

We will do this by making connections with physicians who can recommend the services of the Center to parent sand guardians with children who are not reaching milestones by the age of two to two and a half years of age. We will educate physicians about our services and partner with them so that they can prescribe our program to qualified children.

Our goal is to gather data and report on the effectiveness of our programs in order to eventually be covered under insurance carriers and government programs. This will alleviate the weight of the financial requirements from the parents and guardians.

Philosophy

Providing quality education and intervention services so that the children can progress toward their developmental milestones in a thoughtfully prepared learning environment is the philosophy we live by. We accomplish this by adopting the following values and providing a strong curriculum based upon the following components:

• Culture of Growth: Supporting the natural curiosity for knowledge by providing an environment where the development of a child’s physical, social, emotional and
cognitive growth is cultivated.

• Culture of Community: Developing community and partnership with families to
support a child’s blossoming.

• Culture of Care: Partnering with new and existing programs, businesses, and organizations that also serve the childcare and special needs community to ensure growth and complete care for children.

• Culture of Safety: Providing a safe space where working and at-home care providers
can leave their children to grow and achieve their full potential.
